Dr, Buttery's Clinical Information Research in practice in 1963. Now, 45 years later, very few have even reached this elementary stage of data collectimn about their practices. While NAMCS provides a snapshot of what goes on in the the office it does not help evaluate the quality of an individual practice, nor help the practitioner improve skills.
